There are a large number of tailings and slags with sulfur, arsenic, zinc and iron content of 50% - 60% in the northwest of China. If these tailings and slags are not treated, they will not only occupy a large amount of land and cause great damage to the surrounding ecological environment, but also invest certain treatment and maintenance costs, which is a huge waste of steel resources. Utilize the selective heating characteristics of microwave and the catalytic effect of microwave to treat the pyrite slag with desulfurization, arsenic removal, zinc removal, etc., to remove the sulfur, arsenic, zinc and other components in the iron slag as far as possible, and to reduce the iron in the slag, it will become the raw material of the steel industry.
